Benjamin Jen
Benjamin Jen
Benjamin Jen is the Founder and Managing Partner of GRC Fund. His expertise includes corporate strategy, business development, product marketing, and investment portfolio management.Before founding GRC (Grand River Capital), Benjamin worked for Quanta Group (TWSE 2382) for more than 12 years. He also was the Business Development General Manager of Gintech Energy (TWSE 3514) and Vice Chairman of Danen Technology (TWSE 3686).

Benjamin holds a Master in Technology Management from the Sloan School of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University Missouri, Columbia.
Eric Wang, PhD
Eric Wang, PhD
Dr. Wang has been a Managing Partner at GRC SinoGreen since 2009. He is currently a board director of Aiator, Carbon Lighthouse, and RayPower. He had previously served as a board director of Cnano (688116.SS), Rancher Labs(now SUSE), LedEngin (now OSRAM) and Cepton (NASDAQ: CPTN), and involved in the investment of Voltronic Power (6409.TW), S2C (now SMIT), Centrillion, Sentieon, and Googol.

Previously, Dr. Wang was a Managing Director of WK Technology Fund, responsible for the investments in Aruba Networks (ARUN, now HPC), Brion (now ASML), Ruckus (RKUS, now Arris Group) and Beken (603068.SS). Earlier, Dr. Wang was the Global Head of Semiconductor Research at ABN AMRO Bank, and he began his career as a yield management engineer for KLA-Tencor (KLAC). Dr. Wang has a Ph.D. in Engineering-Economics Systems from Stanford University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tsing Hua University.

Ben is Partner at GRC SinoGreen Fund. He is currently a board director of Incus, Digital Enhancement, Seal, and a supervisor of Googol Technology.  

For the past 20 years, Ben has been in venture capital industry with passion to help entrepreneurs to build their startup business into great companies. Ben’s investment areas cover semiconductors, components, energy efficiency, advanced mobility, cloud computing software, AIoT and robotics. 
Brooke Dong, PhD
Brooke Dong, PhD
Dr. Brooke Dong is a Partner of GRC Fund. She is a Venture Technologist with deep understanding of scientific innovations and hands-on experiences commercializing inventions across a broad spectrum of technologies, including industrial automation and drives, alternative energies and energy efficiency technologies, medical instruments and diagnostics equipment, etc. She is multicultural and operates fluidly within the Chinese, American, and European scientific, entrepreneurial, and corporate communities.

Dr. Dong was born and raised in China where she attended Beijing Information Technology University. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester in the USA.
Herb Lin
Herb Lin
Herb Lin is a Venture Partner of GRC Fund and the President of ITIC (Industrial Technology Investment Corporation) with over 26 years of experience in venture capital investment, hi-tech marketing and IC design. Previously, Herb was a Senior Vice President at WK Technology Fund, Asia vest Fund and Intel Capital, leading investments in semiconductors, networking, software and biotech in the US, Japan, Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia. Before becoming a venture capitalist, Herb was the APAC Regional Marketing Manager at Intel Corporation.

Herb graduated from National Taiwan University in Bio-industrial Mechatronics Engineering, and then pursued graduate studies in the USA. He received a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Missouri, and was a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering in Santa Clara University.
Lizzie Lee
Lizzie Lee
Lizzie Lee is a Partner of GRC Fund. She invests at the intersection of healthcare, device, technology, and data. She is passionate about the discovery of new drug approaches, digitalization of healthcare, genomics, innovative medical instruments, synthetic biology, personalized nutrition, and other deep sciences. On top of leading the Fund’s investments, Lizzie also helps in maintaining the long-term relationships with our investors on the basis of transparency and trust.

Prior to joining GRC Fund in 2014, Lizzie was an investment professional at Sinopac Venture Capital and Singapore family office fund Enspire Capital, where she sourced and led multiple early stage technology investments across Silicon Valley, China, and Taiwan. She graduated from London School of Economics with a Master of Science in Finance.
Antony (Tony) Bishop
Antony (Tony) Bishop
Antony (Tony) Bishop is a Partner based in Auckland, New Zealand. Prior to GRC, he was a joint Managing Partner of the iGlobe Treasury venture capital fund. Prior to iGlobe Treasury, Tony was a founder of Treasury Group Ltd, focusing on investment banking activities in the Asia Pacific region. He has a B.C.A degree from Victoria University and is a chartered accountant.

Tony is a Council member of the NZ Private Equity & Venture Capital Association and has been a director of a number of technology companies.
Jasmine Chou
Jasmine Chou
Jasmine Chou is Vice President of Finance of GRC Fund. She has extensive experiences in financial strategy, partnership structuring, and corporate governance. She leads the operational and financial functions in GRC and is responsible for the overall reporting, planning & forecasting, valuation models, tax, as well as legal and HR issues.   

Prior to joining GRC Fund in 2012, she was a Vice Manager in the internal control consultation and an auditor of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked on numerous IPOs and M&A transactions. Jasmine holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from University of Southampton at United Kingdom.
Ellen Yuan, PhD

Dr. Ellen Yuan, in her role as Investment Director at GRC Fund, is committed to exploring and investing in the realm of carbon neutrality. Her investment portfolio spans synthetic biology, bioengineering materials, energy storage, hydrogen energy, and related sectors. Drawing on her prior experience in interdisciplinary labs specializing in bioelectrochemistry, Dr. Yuan possesses a profound understanding of electrochemical catalysis, foundational technologies in synthetic biology, hydrogen fuel cells, and redox flow batteries. She delves deep into identifying investment opportunities within these domains, targeting key technological challenges, and contributes to the technological revolution in carbon neutrality by integrating expertise in life sciences and electrochemistry. Dr. Yuan is responsible for the GRC Fund's investments process and post investments management in projects like PAM2L Biotech, PHA Builder, and Hydrogen Solutions. She continues to advance in-depth research in synthetic biology, liquid flow batteries, new refrigeration materials, and other fields. 
Prior to joining GRC Fund, Dr. Yuan served as a postdoctoral researcher in synthetic biology at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her contributions in applying biofoundry to strain cultivation, screening, and enzyme-directed evolution have advanced the industrialization of synthetic biology. Dr. Yuan holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Beijing Normal University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Utah.
Bourne Deng

As the Investment Director of GRC, Mr. Deng Yiheng focuses primarily on investment areas such as AI, robotics, advanced manufacturing, and aeronautics. He has participated in and been responsible for GRC's portfolio companies, including Robotmeta (intelligent welding robots), Aiator (AI and robotic solutions), Seal (platform engineering), and LionGo (solid-state electrolyte materials). In this role, he assists these companies in operations and development, connects them with industry experts, expands their overseas markets, organizes accounting management, and plans financing strategies. Additionally, he regularly shares in-depth research on cutting-edge technology and potential deals with LPs.

Before joining GRC, Mr. Deng served as the BD Director and Project Manager at a laser imaging equipment company. During his time there, he successfully completed the R&D, production, delivery, and launch of new products. He also established a marketing team and expanded into Southeast Asian and European markets. Mr. Deng played a significant role in the company's operational management, assisting in achieving quality management system certification (ISO9001) and securing two rounds of financing totaling tens of millions of RMB, resulting in nearly tripling the company's valuation.

Furthermore, Mr. Deng worked as an Investment Manager at Decent Capital, where he completed an angel round investment in Unitree, a quadruped robot company. Prior to entering the industry, he gained experience as an intern engineer at Airbus (China), specializing in process manufacturing, mechanical analysis, and digital simulation.
Miki Ge, PhD

As an Investment Manager of GRC Fund, Dr. Ge focuses on early-stage investments and technology-market research in the field of advanced materials, sustainable energy and semiconductor industry. Before joining GRC Fund, Dr. Ge worked at a US/RMB dual currency fund in Shenzhen on venture capital investments. Prior to that, she worked at Shanghai Industrial µTechnology Research Institute (SITRI) on semiconductor related technology transfer, start-up incubation and investments.

Dr. Ge graduated from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with Ph.D. degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She received B.Sc. degree at the University of Toronto, majoring in Engineering Science, Energy Systems Option.
